Description We are looking for a proactive and approachable Facilities Administrator to ensure the consistent delivery of a safe and fit for purpose working environment for colleagues based in our brand-new office building for our Shared Service Centre in Glasgow. This position offers a great opportunity to make the role your own given the recent office move. The Facilities Administrator is a flexible resource supporting the operations team with facilities management, equipment management and mail room services, as well as any other ad-hoc administrative tasks. This role will require the successful candidate to work on-site 5 days per week. Responsibilities Providing general facilities management assistance around the Business Service Centre, to ensure a safe and fit for purpose working environment for colleagues Supporting the provision of electronic document management for the centre, with a daily focus in inbound and outbound mail, and transfer of archives to electronic medium Managing the provision of IT equipment for the centre including deployment of assets, stock management, and basic troubleshooting Providing high quality administrative support Working with colleagues in the centre and beyond to resolve service issues and identify improvement opportunities Qualifications Competence working with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service, evidence through working in a previous customer service role Proven ability to take ownership and work on own initiative Ability to maintain resilience when dealing with issues and complaints Ideally, you’ll also have: Previous administration and/or facilities experience Knowledge of applicable Health & Safety legislation
