What you’ll be doing
The Salesforce Administrator will work with Stagecoach stakeholders to define system requirements, customise the platform and enable Stagecoach and its users to get the most out of Salesforce technology. A Salesforce Admin best understands how to make the platform work for Stagecoach’s goals. The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of Stagecoach’s CRM, Sales and Service Salesforce SaaS solutions. Working closely with Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Programme/Project and Salesforce Analyst/Developer & other IT colleagues, the administrator will identify, develop, improve and deploy new business processes. The Salesforce administrator is responsible for tasks ranging from helping users develop reports and reset passwords to maintaining data quality, adding fields, and running backups, among many others.
The Salesforce Administrator will serve as the primary system administrator for all Salesforce instances (Service, Sales) by:
1. Handling all basic administrative functions including user maintenance, modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields and other routine tasks.
2. Gathering detailed requests for improvements or changes to the system, and implementing these changes as appropriate.
3. Automating processes using Salesforce tools such as process builder, approval processes, & validation rules.
4. Managing less complex Salesforce integrations - those not handled by a Salesforce Developer or Consultant/Partner.
5. Identifying, installing and maintaining appropriate apps from the AppExchange for mass email, and more.
6. Training new users and growing the Salesforce skill set across the organization.
7. Documenting customizations made in Salesforce.
8. Working with Stagecoach suppliers to plan for upgrades, seasonal releases and long-term projects.
9. Administration of other automation tools used by the business.
Skills & Behaviours
* A documented history of successful project completion.
* A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex processes.
* Strong Salesforce interest and ability to quickly master new technology.
* Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, processes, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity preferred.
* Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality preferred.
* Minimum two years of experience as a Salesforce administrator preferred.
* Salesforce Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified preferred.
We are operating a hybrid working policy. The successful candidate will be required to attend 3 days per week at our offices in Stockport.
