Opportunity
Owing to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Banking & Finance Associate to join the firm’s Melbourne office.
This role provides the chance to work on a broad spectrum of banking and finance transactions, with a particular focus on project finance, corporate finance, and acquisition finance.
You will be advising clients across diverse sectors, including energy, resources, infrastructure, transport, and real estate, and handling both domestic and cross-border transactions.
Requirements
The firm is seeking a highly motivated Associate with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a high performing, transactional Banking & Finance team. You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment and be able to manage multiple priorities while delivering quality results for clients in a timely and efficient manner.
To succeed in this role, you will possess :
1. Strong technical expertise in banking and finance law
2. A commercial, client-focused approach to legal advice
3. The ability to work well under pressure, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with others
4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage with internal and external clients
5. A positive, energetic attitude and a team-oriented approach
