Our client, a well-established and highly regarded private legal practice, is looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their team based in their Sheffield office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and progressing purchase transactions under supervision and will be proficient in preparing correspondence, forms, and documents in accordance with instructions.
We would expect the right candidate to be able to manage their own small caseload of sale files, with minimal supervision.
Other duties will involve facilitating the exchange of contracts and preparing financial statements, SDLT submissions, as well as certificates for title for advance funds.
A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar conveyancing role and a good understanding and knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures is essential. Candidates should be able to demonstrate exemplary client care and communication skills as they will be expected to professionally and pro-actively liaise with clients, estate agents, financial advisers, mortgage lenders, and other legal parties to transactions.
