Job description
Framatome is a major international player in the nuclear energy market recognized for its innovative solutions and value-added technologies. We are looking to recruit a Project Manager to be based at Sizewell B Power Station to support the projects and portfolio that Framatome is managing at that site.
Reporting to the Head of PMO, the Project Manager will ensure assigned projects are planned and delivered in line with agreed contractual obligations to foster a positive client relationship.
The Project Manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of projects, which includes:
* Ensure projects are executed and controlled according to best practices, meeting customer requirements and minimizing risks.
* Develop and take responsibility for project management processes in line with management systems and best practices in the UK.
* Manage specific projects and bids related to project management, project control, contract management, and site management.
* Lead and supervise site teams according to project needs.
* Manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders.
Profile
Qualifications, skills, and experience required:
* HNC in Engineering or equivalent.
* Prince 2 or APM Qualified.
* NVQ Level 3 Leadership & Management (desirable).
* Member of an appropriate professional body (APM, PMI, CIOB, etc.).
* CSCS Managers & Professionals.
* IOSH Managing Safely.
* SMSTS would be an advantage.
* Good understanding of Project Control and Planning (Primavera and MS Project).
* Experience managing projects over £1M.
* Knowledge of cost and finance systems including cost control and financial reporting.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft software.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
* Experience in highly regulated industries, particularly nuclear, is advantageous.
* Ability to establish strong working relationships with senior stakeholders.
