This is a unique opportunity to work on a brand-new contract with a prestigious Middle Eastern customer.You will take the lead in commercial activities, supporting the delivery of cutting-edge defence solutions while ensuring compliance with export regulations and contractual excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesContract Management: Lead the negotiation, drafting, and management of complex defence contracts.Export Expertise: Ensure adherence to export control regulations and policies for international defence transactions.Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers, acting as a trusted advisor for commercial matters.Customer Focus: Provide strategic commercial leadership in managing relationships with the Middle Eastern customer.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the contract lifecycle.Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and project management, to deliver successful outcomes.Your ProfileWe are seeking a driven and experienced commercial professional with:A proven track record in commercial management within the defence or aerospace sectors.Export experience, with a strong understanding of international trade and export compliance.Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.Experience working on high-value, complex contracts, ideally with Middle Eastern or export customers.Strong business acumen and the ability to influence at a senior level.You will need to showcase strong customer facing commercial contracts experience throughout the process, this is not a sales or procurement role.
