We are one of the few fit-out companies that can also manufacture our own fittings and interior features. Our joinery workshop can manufacture items not just with wood, but metal, solid surfaces, glass, plastic, LED lighting and electrical power too.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform joinery tasks including cutting, shaping, and fitting wood materials
2. Install doors, windows, and other wooden fixtures
3. Construct and assemble wooden structures such as cabinets, shelves, and furniture
4. Work with electrical and plumbing systems to ensure proper installation and integration
5. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as masons and painters to complete projects
6. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
7. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a joiner or similar role
2. Proficient in using joinery tools and equipment
3. Knowledge of different wood types and their properties
4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Looking for someone experienced in Carpentry and Joinery:
1. Experience working in retail furniture and retail joinery
2. Can read engineer drawings
3. Competent working with different materials
4. Willing to work overtime
Proven experience/qualifications of bench joinery, including working with wood panels, veneers & laminates. To be able to produce high standards of work. Understanding and setting up of machinery. Ability to manufacture purpose-made joinery from CAD drawings. Ability to work independently and use initiative. Ability to work as part of a team. Good communication skills - with clients and staff. Familiar with Retail, Commercial, Hotels, and Residential Sectors. Experience working with solid surfaces would be beneficial although not essential.

Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
