Job Description: SEN Teaching Assistant (Longfield, Kent)
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Longfield, Kent. This rewarding role involves supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a dynamic and inclusive school environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping children reach their full potential, patience, and a proactive approach to learning support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, tailored to their individual needs.
Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
Support the emotional, social, and academic development of students.
Help create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Monitor and record student progress, reporting any concerns to the SENCO.Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
