You will initiate, support and coach process Excellence, lean activities, and operational optimisation within the SCL department. Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to: Driving and supporting Business Excellence activities to continuously improve business performance in the defined area of responsibility Deploying process excellence and lean standards incorporating company policy and documentation Driving and support the analysis of current business operations, identifying areas requiring improvement. Leading subsequent business tasks and projects. Proposing developments based on key safety workstreams such as risk assessments and other environmental risk factors in support of the Environmental Health and Safety team. Hosting internal business improvement meetings and evaluate benefits/costs, oversee implementation and reporting to all stakeholders. Champion organisational best practice, sharing internally and beyond. Providing best practice training and toolbox talks on current and new equipment and/or process. Providing project and task completion status updates during routine meetings. What You Need to Make a Difference A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for… Demonstrable leadership and influencing skills. Experience in leading people (preferred). Proven track record of developing and implementing successful improvement plans. Capable of delivering projects. Results oriented Motivated, and capable of working autonomously. Capable of operating as part of a wider team. Able to Coordinate with internal and external suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders. Capable of conducting staff training. Have knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics, Six Sigma and Project Management IOSH qualified and to have experience with risk assessments - Desirable. Microsoft office – Professions level.
