Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Senior Support Worker for a Children’s Care Home in Birmingham.
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to support children and young people who have complex mental health disorders, learning disabilities, and emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Salary: £25,300 - £26,800 per annum
Duties of a Senior Support Worker will include:
1. Provide effective monitoring, support and supervision to the staff team always acting as a positive role model in line with Care Regulations
2. Manage staff rotas, complete daily shift queries and ensure handover is completed to a high standard
3. Provide on call cover as arranged by the Home Manager
4. Ensure all required documentation and records are completed in line with requirements
5. Ensuring positive relationships with the children & young people, and always safeguarding them
In order to be considered for the role of a Senior Support Worker:
1. Full UK Driving License
2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience within Children’s Residential Service
3. Hold a Diploma Level 3 for Residential Childcare or Equivalent (Qualified)
4. Excellent Communication
5. Basic Computer Skills
Hours of Work: 15 hour days, 1 on 2 off rota (including sleep in’s – approx. 6 x per month)
