Lead Electronics Design Engineer - Wiltshire - Salary - up to £75,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits - Ref 1833
I am currently recruiting for a Lead Electronics Design Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Wiltshire. Salary up to £75,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits.
The organisation has been in operation for over 30 years and employs close to 70 people. They are experts within their sector and have a highly qualified team who work on delivering bespoke and customisable solutions to their end clients across multiple sectors. Due to the variation within the products and solutions they offer, the work is very varied, and while they do offer off-the-shelf products, the bulk of the work they do is bespoke and tailored to their clients' needs.
To support the growth of the business, they now have the need to appoint a Lead Electronics Design Engineer on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Lead Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing products through the full life cycle. This could include PCB design and schematic capture, digital, analogue, and embedded software. Being a leadership role, you will be expected to lead, mentor, train, and develop the less experienced individuals within the team. This role will be primarily focused on NPI/NPD projects, but there will be a need to support the existing product portfolio as well.
Essential Requirements:
1. At least 7 years' experience as an Electronics Design Engineer or similar
2. Experience working in an Agile environment
3. Experience working within a TDD (test-driven development) or BDD (behaviour-driven development) environment
4. Experience with PCB
5. Experience with Digital
6. Experience with Analogue
7. Experience with product compliance (ideally EMC/EMI)
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Lead Electronics Design Engineer to join a forward-thinking and innovative company dealing with fascinating technology that is integrated into their state-of-the-art products. They boast incredible retention rates, with over 65% of staff having been there for 5 years or more and some employees having been with the business for 20 years or even 25. It's a very exciting period of growth for them and would prove to be a great time for someone to get involved in a business that will present future opportunities in the months and years to come to further advance your career.
This is an immediate requirement, so if you have the right skills and experience, please get in touch ASAP with an up-to-date copy of your CV or contact Adam on #removed#.
