There are three wards at Coalville and Ward 4 has discharge to assess beds, providing sub-acute care and complex rehabilitation with a focus on assessing patients for admission to a residential home or return to their own home following an acute hospital stay.

Main duties of the job
Housekeepers are a vital part of our ward teams and aid the nursing and multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care. This role includes but is not limited to -
1. Helping patients with their nutrition and hydration to include serving meals, assisting patients to feed themselves or feeding them.
2. Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming ward environment.
3. Sitting with patients who may require one to one support and supervision.
4. Managing stores and store rooms.
5. Working closely with the Ward Manager in maintaining and monitoring clinical and environmental standards including the use of audit tools.
