We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our client's commercial team as an Account Coordinator on a permanent basis.
Office based hours of work will be Monday-Thursday 08:00 am-5:00 pm and Friday 08:00 am-4:00 pm.
Duties of the role include:
1. Being the primary point of contact for the customer and the voice of the customer within the business.
2. Working closely with the Sales Estimator and Project Scheduler to manage customer relationships, coordinate project timelines, and ensure successful project delivery.
3. Leading customer engagement sessions, e.g., pre-start and progress meetings to establish requirements and identify opportunities.
4. Regularly communicating with customers to ensure their needs are being met and providing updates on project progress.
5. Working with the Sales Estimator to build compliant, competitive bids that convert to orders.
6. Leading internal handover sessions between the Sales Estimator, Project Scheduler, and Purchasing and Production.
7. Liaising with Finance to ensure all 'Gate Checks' are complete.
8. Ensuring the staged design process is adhered to and milestones are met.
9. Working with the Project Scheduler to ensure design feasibility and address non-standard design requests (NSDRs).
10. Coordinating site delivery dates with internal teams and the customer.
11. Managing and coordinating project issue trackers and ensuring timely close-out.
12. Networking with site teams to gather leads and introduce future projects.
13. Building and maintaining strong working relationships to secure returning customers.
14. Identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and developing strategies to increase revenue and client engagement.
15. Working closely with the New Business team to support business development efforts.
16. Retaining, uploading, and filing all documents related to projects in the prescribed central locations.
17. Undertaking additional duties as requested by the Commercial Director.
Essential Experience:
1. Proficient in using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.
