Your newpany is a global manufacturing business with the UK division based in Newbury
Your new role reporting to the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for
1. Preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals/accruals/prepayments
2. Preparation of management reporting packs and KPIs.
3. Weekly P&L accounting to contribution level, epassing variance reporting, analysis and investigation.
4. Support preparation of year end statutory accounts.
5. Contact for internal and external audits.
6. Provide a variety of cost analysis – direct and indirect labour, material usage, overhead analysis by cost centre.
7. Standard costing / Bill of Materials maintenance.
8. Gross Margin reports and analysis.
9. Key person in budgeting and forecasting preparation working with cost centre managers to providing meaningful prediction.
10. Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
11. Stock controlling, stock provisions, stock takes
12. Capital expenditure appraisals and project tracking
13. Oversight of purchase and sales ledgers and credit control activities
What you'll need to succeed ACCA / CIMA or Qualified by Experience you will be an experienced Management Accountant. You will be self motivated and a self starter as well as a good team player.
