Role: Paint Technician - Automotive Location: Coventry Salary: £21 to £23.50 p/h (Depending on experience) PAYE Role: Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week additional as agreed On behalf of our client based in Coventry we are currently seeking Paint Technicians / Paint Sprayers to join the team as they continue to grow. Role, and Responsibilities As a Paint Technician you will follow painting processes in accordance to Manufactures, and company specification Experience of working within the Automotive industry or equivalent Ideally knowledge, and understanding of painting carbon fibre Mix paint on site, and have a good understand of mixing/matching colours Working in a spray booth to ensure paint is confined to the specific areas Check that vehicles have been masked, and prepped to the required standard prior to painting Detect any faults and report into line manager Collaborate closely with fellow technicians, and other areas of the business to ensure all work is conducted to Client specifications High degree of quality, and attention to detail Follow job cards, and work to quality, cost, and timing Adhere to company policies guidelines and health and safety regulations Embrace training and development to enhance and improve knowledge and skill set to further your career PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE Experience with paint spraying bespoke and niche vehicles, and carbon fibre (Nice to have) Experience, and knowledge of colour, and process development) Knowledge, and experience within the Automotive industry Understands all applications and paint specifications. Safety and workplace awareness High attention to detail Excellent communication skills Ability to use MS Office Applications QUALIFICATIONS: Desirable: Has gained practical knowledge and skills related to paint materials, and techniques. National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) or Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) in various aspects of paint spraying.
