A unique opportunity has opened up for a P.E Teacher who is looking for a long-term role in a secondary school in the Clitheroe area on a full-time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2025, with shortlisting currently underway.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
* Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons for students of all abilities
* Promote physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, and teamwork
* Teach a variety of sports and physical activities, including fitness, athletics, and games
* Assess student performance and development in physical skills and fitness
* Encourage good sportsmanship, discipline, and cooperation among students
* Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
* Organise and supervise extracurricular sports events and activities
* Support students in developing leadership and teamwork skills
* Monitor students' health and well-being, providing guidance when needed
* Communicate with parents and colleagues regarding student progress and activities
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
* Relevant qualifications
* Proven experience of teaching P.E up to KS4
* Strong knowledge of Science
* Two education or school-based references
