Job role: Deputy Admissions Manager
We have an exciting new position for a Deputy Admissions Manager to join our existing Banbury College Advice and Admissions Team within Activate Learning.
As part of this role, you will manage the operational delivery of the campus-based Advice Centres and Reception areas, ensuring they are delivering an exceptional customer experience. In addition to this, you will support the Admissions Manager Oxfordshire in overseeing and executing a variety of college-wide priorities, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of service provision and process management. The role requires the candidate to have the capability to support and deputise for the Admissions Manager, leading on their group responsibilities in their absence.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 37 hours a week.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing both on-site and off-site teams, ideally within a Further Education setting although this is not essential.
You will be highly organised, able to manage your own tasks while also providing support and guidance to others. A strong background in leading customer-facing services is important, with an emphasis on creating a warm, welcoming environment while working towards targets and KPIs.
In addition, you will collaborate closely with the Admissions Operations Manager and the wider Admissions leadership team to help refine and enhance Activate Learning's service standards, always striving to provide the best possible experience for our learners in a supportive and caring atmosphere.
