The UK Safran Electrical & Power team has expertise in designing and developing electrical systems comprising generators, power conversion, distribution and control, with developing expertise in electric motors for aircraft propulsion.
The Role
1. Lead all stakeholders of the business line to ensure customer satisfaction and economic performance of the program.
2. Take full ownership of the program, having reign to shape the actions taken that will successfully achieve all program objectives.
3. Ensure consistency in delivering and meeting customer expectations.
4. Management of activities involving and actioned in multiple countries.
5. Work in conjunction with other program managers, led by a Senior Program Manager.
6. Ensure global coordination of all the activities in the business line to deliver expected program figures.
7. Limit and manage the risks generated by program activities to an acceptable level.
Desirable Experience
We are looking for candidates with a range of skills and experience, but we’re also keen to help people grow and develop in this role. If you have some or all of the following, we’d love to hear from you:
* Master’s degree or equivalent experience to allow successful performance of job expectations.
* Aerospace industry experience essential.
* Experience within industrialisation preferred.
* Leadership and people management skills.
* Previous experience in applying program management standards.
* Ability to conduct negotiations both internally and externally.
* Evidence of written English at interview stage.
