The Energy Transition is the fundamental shift underway in how we, as a global community, produce, distribute, and consume energy, with the overarching goal of transitioning to a lower carbon future.
Will you be part of the solution? If you are passionate about making a difference in the sector, then join Stantec's industry-leading Energy team in driving the change!
As a result of recent successes and the development of new projects and clients, Stantec is looking to recruit a Principal Process Engineer into our Energy & Resources team. This role can be based in any of our UK offices but will ideally be reachable from the Midlands.
Working as part of our Waste and Generation Team, you will have an opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects including conventional EfW plants, district heating, gasification projects, hydrogen generation schemes, and multiple biogas production projects.
Leading our team of global experts, you will use your knowledge and experience to deliver innovative, sustainable, and efficient engineering solutions for our clients and the communities around us.
You will provide technical leadership on multi-disciplinary project teams in terms of developing and managing people, tasks, and oversight on project scope and risk. You will lead the digital delivery strategy from process modeling, mass balances to P&IDs, using appropriate software to provide advice, solutions, and successful project outcomes for clients. Finally, we will be looking for you to mentor and coach our team of process engineers to continue their journey to become world leaders in their field.
As Designers in the construction/energy/waste sectors, it is incumbent on us to take our responsibility for HSE matters seriously, and we foster a culture of open scrutiny and continuous improvement in these areas.
