Job Description:
Join our Team: HGV Driver
Ballymoney - 39 hours
Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated HGV Driver to contribute to the Ballymoney team. Reporting to the Materials Manager, you will be responsible for the movement of materials on site and between multiple sites across NI and Ireland. You will play a key role in ensuring the site achieves targets.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
1. Operate safely at all times ensuring zero harm to you, other Terex team members and the public
2. Liaising with supervisors and production departments across multiple sites dealing with deliveries, sign offs and queries ensuring excellent customer service
3. Working to a schedule ensuring on time delivery
4. Supporting with materials handling as and when required
5. Loading and unloading of vehicles so that products are safely loaded and secured to minimise chances of damage
6. Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and safe manner.
7. Drive within the tachograph law and driver hours limits.
8. Be responsible for assigned vehicle and ensure it is not subject to unnecessary damage and cleanliness is maintained
9. Operation of all forklift trucks and delivery of materials safely throughout the site.
10. To operate the crane (if applicable) safely and in accordance with the correct procedures
11. Comply with fuel directives.
12. Complete vehicle daily inspection sheet.
13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, to include Health and Safety Policy.
Experience and Qualifications:
1. Full clean HGV license with valid CPC
2. Experience of working in a similar role
3. The ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
4. Excellent verbal/written communication skills
