Langshott Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Class Teacher to join our team in September 2025. We invite committed and positive applicants to work alongside our experienced and welcoming team members.
Our school is a popular and over-subscribed establishment located in Horley, Surrey. Our pupils exhibit outstanding behaviour, creating an environment where you can teach effectively and take innovative risks. You will be supported by an experienced and pupil-focused Leadership Team, ensuring you have the resources and guidance needed to succeed.
The successful candidate will:
1. Be an excellent, energetic and focused classroom practitioner.
2. Have high expectations of all children in the areas of achievement and behaviour.
3. Be confident in the delivery of Primary curriculum.
4. Have the ability to work proactively, using set objectives to plan and deliver activities to enable pupils to attain age-related expectations and to exceed these in some instances.
5. Effectively mark pupil work, using feedback and assessment tools where appropriate to ensure progress.
6. Understand how children learn and recognise the abilities of different groups of pupils including the more able and vulnerable groups of children.
7. Be committed to developing children as independent learners.
8. Be a good communicator and able to develop positive relationships with staff and children.
9. Work well as part of a team, demonstrating empathy, focus and commitment.
10. Embrace our caring ethos, our vision and our values.
Salary is M1 - UPS London Fringe depending on qualifications and experience.
