The Opportunity:
This is a new full time, permanent Accounts Payable Manager opportunity to join my Leicestershire based innovative and forward-thinking client business, in a role where you will be driving change, developing teams and creating a sense of belonging whilst actively managing and improving the Accounts Payable function.
Responsibilities include:
1. Supervising an accounts payable team
2. Ensuring excellent customer experience through the accounts payable function
3. Managing invoice payment terms and ensuring invoices and staff expenses are paid to deadline
4. Ensuring the Accounts Payable team are compliant with internal controls
5. Continuously identifying and reviewing process risks
6. Monthly Statement reconciliation
7. Investigating and resolving discrepancies
8. Understanding working capital and cash flow
9. Managing cashflow forecast inputs
10. Accounts Payable month end duties / Period close
11. Driving improvements
12. Assisting with system upgrades and development
13. Developing a robust training and development framework
14. Managing major stakeholder relationships
