Area Sales Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced external technical sales manager to grow local area revenue by managing key accounts and promoting our technical solutions and products across the Thames valley area.
This role involves onsite client visits to understand their needs and propose tailored solutions.
Working from Beaconsfield based offices, you will be responsible for promoting and increasing sales of a wide range of industrial electrical products to a varied customer base.
Focusing on providing class-leading customer service and high-quality product lines, you would be responsible for:
1. Researching and identifying business opportunities through new, existing, and dormant contacts within our customer base and your existing network.
2. Fostering and developing relationships with key contacts within target customers.
3. Pre-arranging and scheduling face-to-face appointments with companies and their engineering and procurement departments to develop business.
In this role, your desired skillset would include:
1. An electrical background and strong level of technical knowledge across the broad range of products and cables that we stock and supply.
2. The ability to learn on the job and assimilate knowledge quickly so that business opportunities can be recognized, and their potential be fulfilled on each visit.
3. The ability to converse meaningfully at all levels within a company and form lasting relationships with key decision-makers.
4. Natural aptitude for profit-focused negotiations with clients for mutual benefit and long-term business.
