Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to expand our client base within the construction and civils industry, focusing on onshore and offshore projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and cultivating relationships with potential clients while maintaining strong connections with existing clients to drive business growth.
* Research and identify potential clients and key decision-makers in the construction and civils sector, both onshore and offshore.
* Develop and execute strategic plans to engage new clients and expand business opportunities.
* Build and maintain relationships with clients through regular communication and meetings, understanding their needs, and proposing tailored solutions.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of services and offerings with client requirements.
* Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
* Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives set by the company.
* Prepare and submit proposals, quotations and necessary paperwork required to secure business using the marketing team for support.
* Attend networking opportunities including conferences and industry events.
The Ideal Person:
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or relevant field. This is not an essential requirement.
* Proven track record in business development ideally within the construction and civil engineering industry although specific industry experience is not essential
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to travel as needed.
