What our client is offering for the successful Production Manager: Basic Salary of up to £38,000 per annum (Depending on experience) Working hours: 40 per week Monday to Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm, Friday 7:30am-11:30am 25 Days holiday Pension Death in Service Company Health & Wellbeing scheme Vouchers at Christmas & on Birthdays The Role - Production Manager Oversee daily site operations, ensuring targets are met and compliance with Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards. Manage workforce performance, fostering strong working relationships across teams and with the site management. Collaborate with the Transport Department to ensure smooth material movements for production. Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilisation Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications. Implement quality control procedures and address any issues promptly. Drive production KPIs, manage labour planning, and organize resources for maximum efficiency. Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality. Work with the Maintenance Team to ensure plant uptime through proactive maintenance measures. Handle material deliveries, inspections, and turnaround processes. Ensure full compliance with HSEQ standards, reporting, and training requirements. Generate reports and attend site meetings to review production, safety, and stock performance. What we are looking for in the successful Production Manager Previous experience in a production management/ supervisor role - ESSENTIAL Previous experience working in the packaging sector - BENEFICIAL Proven experience of managing a diverse workforce Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
