The Client:
Our client is a specialist provision based within a mainstream secondary school within Barking, East London. They have approximately 70 learners on site and provide them with occupational pathways and progression routes tailored to suit the individual student. The aim of the provision is for students to attend 90% of mainstream classes and achieve 100% success.
About the Job:
They are looking to appoint an SEN Teacher and welcome ECTs as well as experienced SEN Teachers. They are also able to offer a TLR for potentially taking on extra responsibility. Previous experience of delivering tailored lessons to students aged 14-19 with ASD, Aspergers, and Social and Communication Difficulties is required. The school is happy to offer a permanent contract as well as a temp-to-perm position if preferred.
Candidate Profile:
Experienced SEN Teachers as well as ECTs with a genuine passion and commitment towards SEN including ASD, Aspergers, and SPLD.
