Job Summary Focuses on ensuring overall cleanliness of kitchen areas, in particular pot wash machine, dishwasher, crockery area, floors, and associate canteen. Candidate Profile Experience: Previous experience working within a Kitchen or similar environment preferred. Skills and Knowledge: Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing). Pro-active and reliable. Able to work alone and within a team. Specific Duties Supplying the highest possible levels of customer care and service whether in the public eye or in the back of the house areas. To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of pot wash machine and dish wash machine, and cleaning on a daily basis. To ensure that all crockery is handled correctly to minimize breakages. To ensure the Kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times. To carry out thorough cleaning of all equipment in the kitchen To ensure that all cleaning schedules are followed and signed daily basis. To be fully aware of the: Global food and safety audit 43 check points Accident Report Procedure Maintenance Fault Reporting Procedure Fire Policy for your department To understand how the hotel’s Health and Safety Policy affects your department and how it links in with the rest of the hotel. To carry out all reasonable instructions given to you by a supervisor. Ensure all SOP’s are followed – Human Resources, Brand Standards and Health and Safety, and Grooming standards.
