Job Description Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Export Customer Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and services, ensuring efficient supply chain operations. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to analyse data effectively to optimise logistics processes.
This position will be based at our client's site in St Helens, Merseyside 4 days a week and at our Manchester office for 1 day a week. Applicants must be willing to travel to both sites.
Duties
Manage the end-to-end shipping process for exported goods, ensuring timely delivery to customers within agreed timeframes.
Escalate delays with internal departments to minimize disruptions and maintain customer satisfaction.
Accurately process intercompany and external customer orders in SAP, ensuring correct lead times, pricing, and customer details.
Handle sample order requests and ensure accurate processing as needed.
Maintain up-to-date SAP records with precise audit trails, documenting changes and communication with customers.
Support clients with returns, including arranging transportation, resolving issues, and updating the non-conformities database.
