Catalent Pharma Solutions are seeking to recruit an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead a busy Accounts Payable team within our expanding Swindon site.
The Accounts Payable Supervisor department is responsible for managing the processing and reviewing of all global transactions between the company and its suppliers, ensuring all outstanding invoices from suppliers are approved, processed, and paid.
As the Accounts Payable Supervisor your role will see you undertake a range of volume AP activities and supervise a team of 4 who undertake a range of AP tasks to support Catalent sites throughout the UK.
The Role
Daily management of team and workload for the AP Red team for processing invoices and payments
Be the first point of escalation of more complex invoice processing queries.
Develop relationships with sites in scope of the FSSC and build positive working atmosphere including setup and driving of weekly or bi-weekly site meetings for AP resolutions
Act as a senior member of the Global Shared service team ensuring accurate processing and payments to our vendors in a timely and compliant manner.
This individual will supervise the Financial Shared Service Center, Accounts Payable Red Team on day-to-day activities, oversee the assigned site processing, drive successful Accounts Payable KPI’s
This person will mentor staff within Red Team, Accounts payable analysts and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Manage payment controls and ensure all supplier payments are accurate and comply with various company policies
Act as deputy for AP Team Manager in periods of leave/absence
The Candidate
Minimum 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths & English
Previous Account payable processing and payment experience,
Previous supervisor experience including demonstration of coaching/training less experienced team members
Solution oriented with experience implementing and managing process improvements JD Edwards/Oracle/QAD/SAP ERP system knowledge would be an advantage
Ability to multi-task and demonstrate diplomatic skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AP software
