Job overview
The Community and School Aged Immunisation Service is looking to recruit a dynamic and motivated Clinical Lead. The Clinical Lead will need to be a registered healthcare professional able to administer vaccines under a Patient Group Directive.
Main duties of the job
* Ensure the Immunisation service is effective, efficient and safe by supporting the improvement in the capability of the staff and their practice.
* Ensure best practice is built into Immunisation service delivery models.
* Support service audits and highlight areas for improvement.
* Deliver annual immunisation updates to Practice Nurse immunisers according to the RCN/PHE National Immunisation Training Standard Guidelines.
* Deliver immunisation updates to HCT CSAIS, as required.
* Support an effective student programme.
* Ensure the National Immunisation Service is available to the eligible cohort.
* Ensure immunisation projects achieve outstanding uptake.
* Implement prudent financial decisions, including being an authorised signatory.

* BSc Community Specialist Practice (School Nursing, Practice Nursing, Health Visiting or other relevant specialist qualification) or relevant experience
