Job summary Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance is the cancer programme of the Integrated Care System which covers the whole of Greater Manchester and Eastern Cheshire covering a population of 3 million people. Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance drive to improve patient pathways and cancer care across the system with a broad focus on areas from prevention and early diagnosis, improving access to treatment and supporting people to live better with cancer. We have a vacancy for a senior team administrator to support our senior management team and wider alliance team to continue to improve cancer care across Greater Manchester. As a senior team administrator, you would be responsible for supporting the senior team with comprehensive administrative duties including diary management, minute taking, event organisation, processing invoices and communicating with the wider team. Our offices are based at The Christie and there is a flexible approach to both office and home working with the occasional requirement to travel around Greater Manchester to external meetings. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to expand their experience and skills whilst supporting the improvement of cancer care for the patients in Greater Manchester. Main duties of the job This is a fantastic opportunity to be the initial point of contact for both Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance staff and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to the senior team to ensure they can work with the wider Greater Manchester healthcare system to improve care for our patients.
