About the Job The Digital Assessment Project is one of the IB’s key strategic transformation initiatives focused on transitioning the examinations of the Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-related Programme (CP) from paper based to digital format. Based in the School Readiness and Support workstream within the Digital Assessment Project, the Schools Support Associate Manager will serve as the conduit between our IB World Schools, Project members and wider IB colleagues. They will provide frontline guidance directly to our IB World Schools to enable them to successfully administer digital examinations and act as their representative to enable the Digital Assessment project to account for the diversity and complexity of our IB Schools. The School Support Associate Manager is accountable for the development, completion, and improvement of training and support processes for IB World Schools. This is a Remote working opportunity requiring travel to the Cardiff office circa 4 times per year for an approximate duration of 3 working days each time. Travel and accommodation will be fully funded, but you must be willing to come to the office when called upon if deemed necessary. Travel will also be required to our European or South American IB Conference circa once per year. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of training for schools: including webinars, video tutorials, user guides, FAQs, and support resources to instil confidence in the IB school community. Measure the success of support materials and training and evaluate the effectiveness of support initiatives to make data-driven decisions. Engaging the IB World Schools Community and promoting project adoption: attending IB events, global conferences and school site visits to promote the transition to digital exams, instil confidence, and encourage participation. Develop an informed understanding of the categories of school profiles and build a rapport with school-based leaders to empower their understanding of Digital Assessment. Partner with IB Answers to serve as tier two support for School queries relating to the Digital Assessment Project. Continually gather feedback and facilitate activities to keep schools engaged. Advise and guide schools in assessing current technological capabilities : evaluating what improvements and infrastructure are needed and guiding them through the transition to ensure a smooth integration from paper-based to digital exams. Support the development of digital assessment operational exam plans and monitor school integration plans and difficulties at different stages of the transition to anticipate the rate of adoption About You Able to represent an understanding of the challenges or concerns schools may face through relevant experience within education, assessment, learning, training, communications or a related field. Able to make decisions and complete trade-off analyses to remain on target towards business deliverable commitment Experience creating presentations, trainings, and videos, demonstrating confident presentation and facilitation skills Able to interpret technical information and knowledge. Fluency in written and spoken Spanish or/and French in addition to English is an advantage, although not key for success within a role. Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate or Digital Learning/Assessment implementation within learning is preferred, though not essential. Experience identifying external and internal stakeholders needs through market research Experience managing complex projects and managing vendor relationships to hold vendor accountable to contract deliverables Collaborative mindset and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and facilitate decision-making. Able to travel to the Cardiff office to join the Digital Assessment Project Team circa 4 times per year for an approximate duration of 3 working days each time.
