Position: Science Teacher Location: NN4 Salary: £150 - £210 per day, depending on qualifications and experience Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and high-quality science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Inspire students to reach their full potential in science. Collaborate with a supportive faculty and contribute to curriculum development. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support. Qualifications and Experience: Required: A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE). Experience: At least 1 year of classroom experience preferred, ideally in a secondary school setting. Subject Expertise: Strong background in science, with a passion for delivering engaging, effective lessons. Additional Skills: Excellent communication, classroom management, and adaptability. Requirements: • A degree in Music or a related subject, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • Experience teaching music at Secondary level, with a proven track record of achieving positive student outcomes. • Strong leadership skills, with experience in a pastoral or head of year role being advantageous. • A passion for music education and a commitment to promoting the arts within a school setting. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • A proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues, students, and parents. • Lead and manage the music department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning. • Develop and deliver an inspiring curriculum that encourages students to achieve their full musical potential. • Monitor and assess students' progress, implementing strategies for improvement where necessary. • Foster a love of music across the school, engaging students in a variety of musical genres and activities.
