Salary details: Bucks Pay Range 5 (Salary Range £32,192 – £34,684 per annum)
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 08.15am - 4:15pm Mon – Thurs and 8.15am - 3:45pm Fridays

About you
Your main responsibilities will be administering the HR operations of the academy and ensuring compliance with HR legislation. This will include:
* Administering all core HR functions including payroll, HR admin, learning and development, employee engagement, maintaining and improving HR systems, maintaining accurate personnel files
* Carry out DBS checks, including verifying of documentation, requesting new staff and volunteers register for the update service. Updating the Single Central record as part of onboarding and leaver processes
* Administer sponsorship applications and manage renewals
* Provide advice and assist others in understanding HR processes
* Providing support and advice efficiently and effectively in all areas of Human Resources (HR) including but not limited to the areas of recruitment and retention, CPD, performance appraisals, grievances and dispute resolution and change management, consistent with legislation and academy policies
* Manage the implementation of employment policies
* Completing the annual workforce census
* Line managing the Recruitment Officer and supporting on interview days
* Assisting in developing the wellbeing culture to improve recruitment and staff retention
* Keeping up to date with legislative changes ensuring compliance with regulations and policies
* Providing support to the Business Manager on HR and Compliance related matters
