Well established, multi-service law firm in the Surrey area seeking a Legal Secretary to join their Family department.
This role will provide secretarial support to fee earners within the Family department, assisting with matters relating to Divorce, Private Children, and Finance matters.
Duties will include:
1. Liaising with clients face to face and assisting via telephone and email.
2. Making appointments, arranging meetings, and maintaining an up-to-date diary for the fee earners.
3. Preparation of documents such as Form E's, Form A's, Form C's, Form D's, Divorce petitions, Separation agreements, and Pre-nuptial agreements.
4. Managing the diaries of fee earners within the team.
5. Audio typing using a digital dictation system.
6. Updating trial bundles.
7. Providing support to other secretaries as required.
8. General file-related administration.
Desired skills and experience:
1. At least 2 years' experience as a legal secretary within the Family department.
2. Excellent speed typing skills - you will be tested at the interview stage.
3. IT literate - Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook / Digital Audio software / Case Management.
What they offer:
1. Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm. This is full time and office based.
2. Salary depending on experience £25,000 - £32,500.
