Senior Employment Lawyer - Charities - Leeds
This great, mid-market national firm, known for its positive working culture, is looking for an experienced employment lawyer to join the growing team in Leeds.
The employment team in Leeds is multi-stranded and has been going from strength in recent years, operating across healthcare, education, commercial, and charity/third sector.
This particular opportunity has arisen due to the continued growth of the charity and third sector client base nationally. The firm acts for over 250 different charities, including some really high-profile names, and this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer to join at a senior level.
You will lead on client support and delivery and help to develop more junior members of the team, as well as getting involved in the annual programme of training, seminars, and legal updates to clients and target clients. There are also plenty of other business development opportunities.
The work is broad and varied and covers all the usual areas of contentious and non-contentious employment work. Progression opportunities abound here if your goal is partnership.
Minimum Requirements:
1. You will have at least 4 or 5 years' PQE in employment law, possibly plenty more.
2. If you have acted on behalf of charity and third sector clients previously, that will help enormously, but in the likely absence of that, a strong interest in the sector is essential.
