Job Overview
We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in a home care setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of those under their care.
Responsibilities
1. Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
2. Support clients with mobility and physical therapy exercises
3. Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals
4. Maintain accurate records and update care plans as needed
5. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare providers
6. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
7. Assist with household tasks such as meal preparation and light cleaning
Skills
1. Experience in home care or care home settings is desirable
2. Proficiency in basic IT skills for record keeping
3. Valid driving license for transportation purposes
4. Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
5. Ability to follow care plans accurately and compassionately
6. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families
