Special Needs Teacher - Humanities & PSHE - SEMH Setting - Long-Term Role Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dedicated Special Needs Teacher with QTS to join a small, supportive SEMH school after Easter. This role involves teaching Humanities to KS3, PSHE, and ideally a few hours of PE per week. The school provides a nurturing environment with small class sizes (approx. 4 students per class) and TA support. The Role: Teach Humanities (KS3) and PSHE to students aged 8-16 with SEMH needs. Deliver a few hours of PE per week (preferred but not essential). Support students with challenging behaviour in a structured, small-class setting. Work 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday. Long-term temporary role, with potential for a permanent contract. What We're Looking For: ✔️ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - experience in SEMH is a bonus, but not essential. ✔️ Strong behaviour management skills - confident in handling challenging behaviour. ✔️ Passion for engaging and supporting young people with SEMH needs. ✔️ Ability to create a positive learning environment and work collaboratively with TA's.
