Electronic Design Engineer

£45,000 Per Annum + £8,000 on Target Bonus
Our well-established client are leaders in their industry, with manufacturing sites in the UK and Globally. They are recruiting for an Electronic Design Engineer to join their busy team!
Electronic Design Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
* Be responsible for the delivery of final design, including schematics, Gerber files, bills of materials, and test procedures.
* Use and manage external sub-contract resources to ensure project deadlines and parameters are met.
* Liaise with other departments to write clear specification documents for electronic sub-systems, including hardware and software.
* Manage the delivery of the electronics projects including functionality, timescales and cost.
* Test prototypes against the documented requirements, creating test reports and action plans to resolve any issues.
* Be responsible for ensuring that all designs are implemented and tested, in line with ISO 9001 quality standards.
* Adhere to health and safety requirements, wearing all suitable PPE and ensuring others' safety.
The ideal Electronic Design Engineer will:
* Hold a qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a similar discipline e.g., Software, Electronics Manufacturing or Project Management.
* Have experience as a designer for multiple electronics manufactured products including both analogue and digital.
* Be able to create formal project documents including specifications and test plans.
* Be knowledgeable in System-level design of hardware and software.
* Have knowledge of Printed circuit board layout, automated test systems, document control systems, change management and global supply chain (Desirable).
* Have designed: Battery-powered systems, devices with Ingress Protection, Bluetooth, Radio Communication devices, EMC approvals, and Safety approvals (Desirable).
Working Hours + Benefits:
* Monday - Thursday: 09:00
* Friday: 09:30
