POSITION SUMMARY:
Indivior is seeking a 2nd year student studying a Finance/Accountancy/Business or similar discipline. The individual will be looking to gain financial accounting experience in a placement year. In this position, you will support the Assistant Financial Controller with the monthly accounting for Indivior UK & Indivior EU legal entities (including compliance with SOX controls).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The role encompasses several key responsibilities, including but not limited to:
1. Monthly inventory reconciliations in line with company deadlines. Support in resolving any variances that arise on a timely basis.
2. Monthly posting of sales transactions within the ERP system.
3. Analysing travel expense data and posting journal entries within the ERP system.
4. Weekly stock analysis for monitoring of stock levels.
5. To maintain accurate, relevant, and timely monthly financial close processes in accordance with both relevant financial reporting criteria (IFRS/FRS102/US GAAP) and required internal controls frameworks (SOX).
6. Support all UK external and internal audits and UK statutory reporting requirements.
7. Preparation of control documentation for month end activity as required.
8. Ad-hoc project work as required by the Associate Director of Controlling - EUCAN, or Financial Director - EUCAN.
9. Build and maintain effective relationships within the company at local and international levels to gain support and exchange of essential business information.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
1. 2nd year student studying a Finance/Accountancy/Business or similar discipline.
Experience:
1. Any accounting experience would be beneficial.
TRAVEL:
1. Travel within the UK (Slough) and Europe may be required.
