Position Description We are seeking a passionate growth-driven business leader for our highly strategic Specialty Ball & Plug Valve product family. Specifically, the Product Manager will: Own, be accountable for, and drive product line strategy and growth Develop Multi Generational Product Plan (MGPP) that becomes basis of strategy for product line Utilize market insights to set strategic direction and develop value propositions that provide a sustainable competitive advantage to win market share and grow the business Collaborate across the global cross-function al team to frame and take ownership of product development, pricing, commercial, and operational initiatives, aligned to the product family strategy Define and sustain effective channel strategies across OE and MRO business, and l ead go-to-market plan development and deployment Create and lead accountability across the organization to set and meet growth targets Key R equirements Strong market-led and customer-driven mindset Emotionally intelligent leader and collaborator with ability to influence team members at all levels of the organization, solve complex problems, and resolve conflicts Clear communicator and “ story-teller ”, with “executive presence” and ability to communicate effectively to senior leadership A bility to navigate a complex global organization Strong prioritization skills and sense of urgency, as well as good time management with ability to effectively work with people in different time zones Results-driven mindset with eagerness to embrace and drive accountability Experience in conducting and leveraging voice-of-customer, market and competitor analysis, and financial analysis to enable clear decision-making Strength in developing hardware-digital value propositions linked to specific customer and application value drivers Innovative mindset, with eagerness to cultivate “outside-the-box” thinking across the team Strength in leading go-to-market commercialization efforts Education and Work Experience At least 8 years working with engineered products across product development, product management, or commercial and sales operations Proven track record across few of the following global industries – including Chemical, Energy, Power, Water, General Industries. (4) y ear business or engineering degree, MBA and/or Advanced Engineering degree preferre d At least 3 years’ experience in a functional leadership role creating substantial business impact across one or more functions, including Product Management, Marketing, Commercial, Sales or Engineering role for industrial products Proven track record of working successfully with global matrix organization within multinational company Additional Experience Experience with Specialty Ball Valve applications and end markets Experience developing strategies and driving initiatives across global distribution channels
