What's involved with this role: Temporary Evidence Reviewer and Court Processor Job Ref: Devon and Cornwall BL 364173 Pay Rate: £12.92 per hour PAYE Hours per week: 37 Monday - Friday, normal working hours Role Length: This opening assignment is for 12 months City: Plymouth NPPV2 Vetting NB: Police Vacancy - only for candidates with a minimum of 3 years continuous UK address history. You will play a key role in reviewing road traffic offence submissions—both digital and manual—to ensure appropriate action is taken, whether through educational diversion or prosecution, supporting the delivery of a fair and effective justice process. Key duties: Review road traffic offence evidence, including collision reports, Op Snap submissions, and officer-issued tickets, to determine the appropriate course of action in line with legislation and policy. Input and maintain accurate data on internal systems such as Crash and Pentip to support case progression. Prepare and manage digital case files for the Single Justice Procedure, compiling all necessary evidence and documentation for court. Work collaboratively with external partners such as CPS, courts, DVLA, and police officers to ensure successful prosecutions and fair outcomes. Offer specialist guidance and support to officers, partner agencies, and the public, helping improve the quality of submissions and ensuring compliance with agreed protocols.
