Process Engineer - Inside IR35 Contract role - No Sponsorship Available
Description
Our client is looking for a Process Engineer to join one of their Business Process Transformation teams. This role will have a focus on Process Mapping, the use of Oracle ERP (currently on Oracle R12), Order to Cash (O2C), Record to Report (R2R), and working with Payment Services (Adyen, PayU, BigCommerce). The client has a number of eCommerce projects where teams are trying to Go To Market in different countries with various eCommerce offers, with the overall goal of ensuring all financial processes are in place to manage transactions when they come into financial systems.
This role requires someone who is a problem solver that thrives on streamlining complex processes, as they are currently creating global experiences that have real-world impact. Joining as a Process Engineer will require you to play a key role in building the processes that power their Global eCommerce solution. You will work with cross-functional teams to help build their operational, financial, and compliance strategies that allow them to continue setting the standards for their industry's digital experiences.
The team
The team currently consists of 10 people, each focusing on areas such as Source to Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Report. They have scoped traditional areas within an organisation and have 1 VP who heads up the whole area. There are also analysts in the team who understand how the processes work in practice and offer support to identify improvements.
What you'll do
1. Help to turn big ideas into clear process goals, workflows, and plans that add real value and improve the business's overall efficiency.
2. Lead multiple projects aimed at improving processes across dynamic business models, collaborating with global teams to meet strategic objectives.
3. Support teams from Financial Operations, Global Business Services (GBS), and Technology by using your insight and experience to help shape their processes.
4. Take ownership of monitoring and improving performance by establishing controls and high standards for longer-lasting improvements.
5. Become a cornerstone of our client's Direct-to-Customer strategy, leveraging data and advanced tools to optimise processes and target a seamless deployment of their experiences.
Skills
1. ERP - Knowledge of Oracle ERP is required.
2. Process Mapping - The successful candidate must take ownership of mapping out new processes and support with the implementation of changes following the introduction of new processes.
3. Work methodology - Experience and/or qualifications in Agile or Scrum methodologies are preferred.
4. Perspective - Experience working in multinational organisations and understanding how diverse teams work and the variety of market needs is desired.

This will be a fully remote role, with the contract initially lasting for 3 months. It will be a 1-stage interview process.
