Job summary
An exciting opportunity for a Team Administrator has arisen. The main responsibilities of the role will be to provide full administrative support to the Managers within the Team. Excellent communication skills are essential as well as the necessity to maintain confidentiality, have the ability to work to tight deadlines, use your initiative and carry out a multitude of tasks with limited supervision.
Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive, confidential administrative support service to the team.
To be aware of work priorities and needs of self and managers to ensure all required deadlines are met.
To ensure continued professional development through accessing relevant training as agreed with line manager and the service requirements of the organisation.
Responsible for the provision of an administrative service to the managers, ensuring that timely, accurate work is produced to deadline and work of a highly confidential, sensitive nature is handled with discretion, tact and compassion.

Essential
1. Diploma/NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent (or willingness to achieve within an agreed timescale)
2. ITQ Level 2 or equivalent or willingness to work towards
3. Key skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 or O'Level/GCSE in Maths and English grade c or above
Experience
Essential
4. oSignificant secretarial/administration experience
Desirable
5. oSecretarial/administrative experience in a clinical environment
6. oExperience of participation in service and quality improvement initiatives
7. oExperience of supervising/training junior administrative staff
8. oExperience of handling monies and working within financial guidelines

9. oComprehensive knowledge of secretarial and administrative procedures and the ability to undertake associated tasks ensuring adherence to defined procedures and guidelines
