About the role: We are seeking a dynamic and inspiring leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding personalised educational opportunities for vulnerable pupils. You must demonstrate strong leadership skills and management experience and be a skilled SEND practitioner with experience of building excellent relationship with students, staff, parents, governors and other stakeholders.
The successful candidate will receive continuing support and monitoring from the assigned Education Lead and will be expected to have:
* Qualifications relevant to the role such as degree in teaching or management. NPQH is desirable.
* Strong knowledge of Independent School Standards Regulations and Education Inspection Framework and experience working in a similar setting.
* Extensive knowledge of safeguarding, having worked as a Designated Safeguarding Lead.
* Successful leadership experience in managing complex behaviours with trauma informed practice approach and appropriate interventions.
* Concrete knowledge and experiencing of multi-agency working to support Looked after Children and directing on EHCP outcomes.
* Determination to achieve excellence and ensure that every pupil is prepared to become active citizens in the wider community.

The school: Cambian Chesham House School provides education for a range of students within the Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) sector of secondary education age.
