Kerry Dairy Consumer Foods is looking for a talented Senior Brand Manager to join the Team to work on an exciting new start-up brand, SMUG Dairy, which launched in April 2024 & is set to shake up the Dairy Category.
About the role
The successful candidate will be joining at the very start of our journey and play a key role in setting the brand up for future success. Working on a start-up brand, this role will be full-on & multi-faceted – from getting the basics right, engaging internally & externally, collaborating with key Agency Partners, developing motivating communications or go-to-market activation plans. No day is the same in our quest to successfully launch SMUG as the new way to do Dairy in a tempting, unmissable & clear way.
They will be agile, responsive, comfortable with ambiguity, bring the outside in, inspire & excite the Business and our Customers about SMUG Dairy and ensure delivery in line with the Business & Commercial metrics. There is also a longer-term view of expanding the brand internationally.
We are looking for a driven, passionate individual who is above all a Team Player, flexible & adaptable & happy to get stuck in & make things happen.
Key responsibilities
1. Working in conjunction with the Marketing Lead to launch & land a new Dairy Brand into the UK Market.
2. Working with the Marketing Lead & Agency Partners on campaigns to unlock the brand potential through 360˚ communications channels.
3. Leading elements of the Integrated Marketing Communications - Digital & Social lead.
4. Leading the shopper marketing & activation plan (including sampling) with supporting agency.
5. Leading the Brand renovation agenda optimizing existing products & packaging across cheese, butter & milk.
6. Brand lead for artwork production/repro/printing.
7. Key brand liaison with the sales & field sales team.
8. Project managing specific innovations.
9. Supporting the forward-looking innovation pipeline in conjunction with the Branded Innovation Team.
10. Tracking & evaluating in-market performance & identifying opportunities to accelerate and optimize.
Qualifications and skills
1. Previous experience in Brand Marketing roles.
2. FMCG background & experience (preferably Food / Beverage).
3. Experience & knowledge of artwork & repro processes.
4. Track record of successful creative development & leading Inter Agency Teams.
5. Social & Digital capability & evidence of how driven Brand growth / objectives & performance.
6. Able to influence, build effective relationships & manage at senior levels within and outside the organization.
7. Comfortable with ambiguity.
8. Confident to own relationships & decision making & work autonomously as needed.
9. Desirable - experience & successful track record of launching a New Brand / Start-up.
