We are seeking a Senior Administration Officer to work within the department of Student Registry Services, managing a team within the College of Health & Science.
Student Registry Services provides expert administrative support and professional advice to the University in relation to academic administration, in addition to arranging key student-facing events. This role will be responsible for the planning and managing of the University's formal examinations which take place in January, May and July each year. You will be working with other Departments across the University as well as with external suppliers to ensure the exams run smoothly and efficiently while providing a good student experience.
The team that you will be managing is responsible for maintaining student records, including the assessment of students and the conferment of awards. Student Registry Services colleagues work closely with other areas of the University, including College Offices, Finance and the Student Support Centre, in providing a student-focused service that is responsive to a changing higher education environment.
The Student Administration Officers work in a college-focused administrative team to implement the systems and processes required to deliver an effective undergraduate and postgraduate administration service, ensuring that best practices are followed at all times.
You will be responsible for ensuring that your team meets deadlines, follows processes, manages the team’s performance, and coordinates training and development as required in relation to the student record, post admissions, maintaining the record to the highest degree of accuracy.
