You will strategically lead a team of trainers and specialist trainers, overseeing the development and implementation of management, leadership, and personal effectiveness training across the organisation. The organisation is a forward-thinking, modern fire and rescue service that aims to create a safer future for Kent and Medway. You will work on a hybrid basis, going into the office 3-days per week.
This permanent job includes leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive L&D strategy, overseeing the creation and delivery of a core curriculum, partnering with business leaders to assess current and future training needs, and developing and implementing an innovative e-learning strategy. You will also be responsible for managing external L&D providers, building and leading a high-performing team of L&D professionals, and reviewing the effectiveness of learning initiatives.
Key qualifications include In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and leadership development methodologies, and a strong understanding of learning technologies, LMS platforms, and digital content creation tools.
