The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance, troubleshoot IT-related issues, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and networks. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to IT support. As our Desktop Support Engineer, you will be required to: Provide first-line technical support to users via phone, email, and remote access tools Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT teams and follow up to ensure resolution Provide Tier 2 level support, Escalation point for Tier 1 level support Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions using a ticketing system. Support user account management, including password resets and access permissions. Assist with IT security measures, including antivirus updates and system patches Provide guidance and training to end users on IT best practices To apply for this role, you should possess the following skills, experience and qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/related field 5-3 years IT helpdesk, network support, or computer repair. Strong knowledge of Microsoft technology and licensing (Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Office, MS SQL, etc.) and MAC OS. Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting skills in Active Directory, Exchange, O365, Azure, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and remote desktop tools. Basic networking/LAN experience. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong customer service and communication abilities. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
