Experian are looking for an accomplished Group Head of Vendor Contracting to join our global procurement team reporting into the Group Chief Procurement Officer. This role is important to providing world-class legal support and driving productivity and consistency through AI-powered legal technology. As a core part of the leadership team, you will promote a people agenda within the legal team, promoting a culture of accountability and performance.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide world-class legal support to the global procurement team, responsible for contracting $2.5 billion annually in spend.
* Manage a team of 9 lawyers based across the core regions in which Experian operates.
* Improve productivity and consistency using AI-powered legal technology.
* Be a core part of the leadership team and lead a people agenda within the legal team.
* Foster a culture of accountability and high performance.
* Ensure Experian is aware of and ready to implement updates in new areas of legislation and regulation.
* Be a important member of the Experian legal and compliance team, collaborating with peers and other second line of defense (2LoD) functions.
Qualifications
* Track record in a globally complex legal environment dealing with regulatory, IP, and licensing matters.
* Willingness and interest in developing legal knowledge in other jurisdictions and an ability to network with peers in other regions.
* Strong communicator who can lay out clear and concise positions for complex matters to a senior audience, including ExCo.
* Interest in legaltech and using this to increase productivity and speed.
* Focused on finding solutions to make the business happen, not on explaining why it can't.
